Clam, a Poem

Something I found on the bus ride home, translated, by me…

a clam in its natural habitat, photo from online…

Sometimes, the tips of the tongue talked in silence

Sometimes, the two lips, made us into form

The moment of disclosures, you can’t tell, if it’s

Spherical, or, the shape of a duckweed

Simply by watching

The series of things, that’s, floated to the surface

So light, and so surreal

I, who had become, tired, of this opening and closing movement

Am actually, carrying a sealed-close dream

So there’s, a lot of imagery with this one, and, the poet wrote, using creative writing “tools” such as metaphors, and personification, and that, is what makes poetry so interesting to read…
