We, Shall Never Have the Chance, to Meet Up Again Once More

Without the Ifs, We Can’t Have Our Do-Overs

So, there’s, that strong hint of regret in this one, and, the gold fish is merely, a metaphor, for the poet’s state of mind, living inside that glass tank, not being able to go anywhere, trapped, for life!
